Yasmin Online Price, Dosage & Side Effects
What is Yasmin?
Yasmin is a contraceptive oral pill that helps prevent ovulation and doesn`t let spermatozoids reach their aim. Moreover, two active components of Yasmin – ethinyl estradiol and drospirenol – make menstrual cycle regular. And when it`s regular, women get rid of various problems connected with hormonal imbalance, for example, skin problems.
Yasmin pills contain two active ingredients – 3 mg of drospirenone and 0.03 mg of ethinyl estradiol. Each blister pack lasts for 3 weeks + there are 7 “reminder” pills.
How does Yasmin work?
Female Yasmin quickly influences uterus neck microflora. As a result, the neck of uterus becomes hard-to-reach for spermatozoids. Moreover, Yasmin stabilizes the level of hormones and many unpleasant symptoms such as acne or neuropsychic disorders connected with hormonal imbalance vanish.
Drospireninone can prevent the increasing of body weight and edema caused by hormonal imbalance. Plus, this component has antiandrogenic properties, so it helps reduce acne, greasy hair and skin.
If properly used, with Yasmin you have less than 1 chance in 100 to get pregnant. If you don`t follow all instructions, your chance to get pregnant increases. If you mix this drug with antibiotics, your risk to get pregnant doubles.
When to use Yasmin?
Yasmin is usually used for:
- Unplanned pregnancy prevention
- Menstrual cycle disorders
Yasmin dosage. How to take Yasmin
Take one pill of Yasmin once a day at the same time. Stick to all recommendations of your doctor! Remember that if you missed a dose of Yasmin, use condoms or spermicides in order to prevent unplanned pregnancy. Use condoms or spermicides when you start taking Yasmin. If you start taking Yasmin not on the first day of your menstrual cycle, use contraceptives.
The first pill of Yasmin must be taken on the first day of menstrual period (the first day of menstruation) or on the first Sunday of menstrual period. Take 1 yellow pill every day during 21 days. From day 22 to day 28 take one white “reminder” pill. These white pills will keep you on your regular pattern of taking Yasmin. During this “reminder” period that lasts for 7 days, you will have your period.
Yasmin can be taken with no regard to meals.
You must start your next and all subsequent blisters of Yasmin on the same day of the week as you started the first one, no matter if you have menstrual period or not. If you started your second or any other subsequent blister of Yasmin later (you missed a dose), use some methods of contraception during a week.
